TMPK collects personal information from members and visitors solely for organisational purposes. This includes:
- Name — full name as per government ID, along with name in Assamese and Mising (Roman) where applicable.
- Date of Birth — for age verification and eligibility determination.
- Aadhaar Number — encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM; used only for identity verification and never stored in plaintext.
- Contact Details — email address, phone number, and permanent / current address.
- Demographic Data — gender, clan, gaon (village), blood group, and institutional affiliation.
- Photograph — for ID card generation and verification.
2. How We Use Your Information
Personal data is used exclusively for:
- Membership registration, verification, and ID card issuance.
- Scholarship and felicitation processing.
- Relief and welfare coordination during disasters.
- Internal governance, elections, and committee administration.
- Communication of official notices, events, and organisational updates.
3. Data Retention
Membership data is retained while a member remains active. Upon request or after the cessation of membership, personal data is deleted within 90 days, subject to legal and audit requirements. Aadhaar ciphertext is retained only for the duration of membership and purged upon deletion request.
4. Member Consent
Consent is captured at the time of registration through an explicit checkbox. Members acknowledge that they have read this Privacy Policy and agree to the collection, storage, and processing of their personal data as described herein.
5. Right to Request Data Deletion
Members may request deletion of their personal data at any time by submitting a written request to the Central Committee. Requests are processed within 30 days. Certain records may be retained where required by applicable law or for legitimate organisational interests (e.g., financial audit trails).
6. Data Security
All personal data is stored on secured servers with access restricted to authorised personnel only. Aadhaar data is encrypted with AES-256-GCM; the encryption keys are managed separately and rotated periodically. The website is served over HTTPS with TLS 1.2 or higher.
