Triennial General Conference
The supreme decision-making body of TMPK. Held every 3 years. 17th session was July 2026 at Jonai with 101-member Central Committee formed.
Independence Day
Flag hoisting at all committee offices, cultural programmes, and community gatherings.
Felicitation of Toppers
Annual merit felicitation for Mising students who excel in HSLC, HS, and university examinations.
Ali-Aye-Ligang Festival
5-day spring sowing festival with Gumrag dance, Purang apin feast, and traditional rituals across Mising villages.
Inter-District Sports Meet
Annual sports competition among district committees — football, volleyball, athletics, and traditional games.
Po:rag Festival
Post-harvest festival held every 2–3 years with grand community feasts, Gumrag dance, and prayers.
Flood Relief Drives
Emergency relief operations during monsoon season, distributing food, medicine, and essentials to affected families.
Event Spotlights
17th Triennial General Conference — July 2026
Held at Mising Kristi Bhawan, Mürkangchelek, Jonai on 11–12 July 2026. Assam Education Minister Ranoj Pegu attended as chief guest. A 101-member Central Committee was elected for the 2026–2029 term, with 50% new members.
Golden Jubilee — 2021
TMPK celebrated 50 years of dedicated service through a year-long programme at the Higher Secondary field, Jonai Bazar. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the milestone was commemorated across Lakhimpur and Dhemaji districts.
